Have you ever listened to a podcast? Most are kind of boring, right? A couple weeks ago while bored at work, a co-worker introduced me to a website called The Truth. They make short films without all the images – in other words, an audio drama – presented as podcasts. I was skeptical to begin listening to one, but these are all pretty short, and extremely entertaining. Even if you’re not watching anything, you will be so engaged and want to hear more.
Here’s my favourite one. Enjoy!
TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) annually celebrates the art of filmmaking. This ten day film festival features movie screenings, festivals, workshops, and more. The industries’ high profile and independent movie makers come together. There might even be a chance to catch a glimpse of a celebrity.
This year, the public will see more than film and red carpets rolling at the festival. That’s right, trucks. FOOD TRUCKS.
On September 6-16, a variety of food trucks will gather together. The public will decide on which truck satisfies their taste buds.
According to TorontoFoodTrucks.ca, an official schedule alotting times and locations is to be announced.
