Citizens celebrate their country’s day of “birth,” establishment, or independence. They gather for picnics, parties and fireworks. Tradition may turn into trends and habits that lose meaning. Regardless, respect, gratitude, and honour should come first. Simply put: As Canadians, we’re privileged.
Give thanks for freedom, rights, and education. Respect the laws, land, and the people who live on it. Celebrate the plethora that completes one nation.
Happy Canada Day!
