Daily Dose: Quote of the Day

“Painting is an infinitely minute part of my personality.”
Salvador Dali

Painting is probably the most commonly accepted form of art in the world. As an artist however, you need to expand your horizons and dabble in each of the mediums before you can settle on one. Otherwise you’ll never be reaching the full potential of your abilities. Salvador Dali for example also worked with film, sculpture, and photography despite being primarily famous as a painter.

When you become great at something, it inevitably begins to represent you. Always stay open to new ideas and to learn new things. Otherwise you will never know how much you are limiting yourself and your potential.
